Braun Steam Iron SI5037 – 2700W with FreeGlide 3D SuperCeramic Soleplate, 200g/min Steam Shot & 300ml Tank

The Braun Steam Iron SI5037 is designed to make everyday ironing quicker and more comfortable. Its 2700W output works alongside a 50 g/min steam rate and a 200 g/min steam shot to release creases from shirts, trousers and household linen. Braun’s FreeGlide 3D Technology gives the SuperCeramic soleplate an upward curve, so it glides in every direction, even backwards over buttons and pockets. An ergonomic open handle, a 300 ml water tank, plus anti-drip, self-clean and auto-off functions complete this violet Braun steam iron for regular home use.

2700W Power for Great Results

At 2700 watts, the SI5037 combines high power output with steady steam emission for a great end result on your clothes. Heat and moisture work together to relax fabric fibres, so creases loosen with fewer passes across the garment. This makes the Braun 2700W steam iron a practical choice whether you are pressing a single shirt before work or getting through a full basket of family laundry at the weekend.

FreeGlide 3D Technology

Ordinary flat soleplates can catch on seams and fastenings. The SI5037 uses Braun’s FreeGlide 3D Technology, where the soleplate curves upwards to deliver 360° glideability. You can move the iron forwards, sideways or backwards over obstacles such as buttons, pockets and zips without it getting stuck, meaning less lifting and repositioning and a smoother, more natural ironing motion.

SuperCeramic Soleplate and Precision Tip

The smooth SuperCeramic soleplate spreads heat uniformly, helping you achieve great results quickly and with less hassle. According to Braun, it is 60% more durable than the brand’s previous ceramic soleplate. At the front, a triangular precision tip reaches into tricky areas like collars and seams, so detailed sections look as neat as the larger panels of the garment.

Powerful Steam and Water Spray

Steam does much of the work when removing creases. The SI5037 delivers a steam rate of 50 g/min, and when you meet stubborn wrinkles, the 200 g/min steam shot adds an extra burst of moisture exactly where it is needed. A water spray function lets you dampen dry, heavily creased fabric before pressing, giving you more control over thicker materials.

Ergonomic Open Handle and 300 ml Tank

Comfort matters during longer sessions. The ergonomically designed open handle gives you freedom of movement, while its dotted, textured grip surface helps the iron sit securely in your hand. The 300 ml water tank lets you keep ironing longer between refills, and when it is time to top up, the larger tank opening and redesigned lid make refilling faster and easier.

Anti-Drip, Self-Clean and Auto-Off

The improved anti-drip system stops water escaping from the soleplate, even at low temperatures, helping protect delicate garments from water marks. A self-clean system removes scale particles from the soleplate to support long-lasting steam performance. For safety and energy saving, auto-off switches the iron off after 8 minutes standing upright or 1 minute lying flat.

Why Choose the Braun SI5037 Steam Iron?

The Braun SI5037 brings together the features that make a real difference to daily ironing. Its 2700W power and 200 g/min steam shot tackle creases effectively, while FreeGlide 3D Technology lets the soleplate move freely around buttons and pockets. The SuperCeramic coating glides smoothly, the precision tip handles collars and seams, and the open handle keeps you comfortable. With a 300 ml tank, anti-drip, self-clean and auto-off, the SI5037 is a well-rounded Braun steam iron for keeping your household’s clothes neatly pressed.
