Black and Decker Steam Mop BHSM1610DSM 1600W 2-in-1 | Delta Head, SteaMitt & 15 Accessories

The Black and Decker Steam Mop BHSM1610DSM handles everyday floor cleaning and smaller jobs around the home with one appliance. Its 1600W heating power produces steam from ordinary tap water, while the detachable handheld unit takes over where an upright mop can’t reach. With a Delta floor head, a SteaMitt steam glove and 15 accessories, this BLACK+DECKER 2-in-1 steam mop suits sealed floors, grout, glass and other steam-safe surfaces. It’s a practical choice for households that want regular cleaning without chemical floor products.

1600W Power, Ready in Under 20 Seconds

A short wait makes a steam mop easier to use for quick cleanups as well as full floors. The BHSM1610DSM reaches working steam in less than 20 seconds, then delivers a continuous flow at up to 120°C. An 8-metre power cable adds to that convenience, giving you more reach from a single socket and fewer stops to change outlets as you move between rooms.

Upright Mop and Handheld Cleaner in One

Used as an upright, this model covers open floor areas without bending. Detach the handheld steam cleaner and the same appliance moves on to worktops, tile joints, windows and other sealed surfaces above floor level. Having both formats in one machine means you don’t need separate tools for floors and detailed household tasks, and it keeps storage simpler too.

AutoSelect Settings for Sealed Floors

Different floors need different amounts of steam. AutoSelect technology lets you choose your floor type, and the mop then releases the matching steam level, so there’s no guessing each time you clean. It’s designed for all sealed hard floors, and the moisture evaporates within seconds, so there’s no need to wipe the floor dry afterwards before using the room again.

Delta Head and Steam Burst for Tough Spots

The pointed Delta floor head reaches narrow gaps and small spaces that a rectangular head can miss. For stubborn grease and grime, the Steam Burst function adds extra cleaning force. Easy Glide microfibre pads then pick up the dirt that the steam has loosened. These reusable pads are rated for more than 100 wash cycles, so you can launder them and use them again.

SteaMitt and 15 Accessories

The SteaMitt steam glove lets you clean by hand, which helps on uneven or awkward surfaces such as ovens and stainless steel. Brushes tackle grout and detailed areas, the squeegee works on glass, and the carpet glider helps refresh suitable carpeted areas. The hose and attachments extend this steam cleaner to upholstery and curtains, so the kit covers far more than floors alone.

Chemical-Free Cleaning with Tap Water

Fill the 500 ml removable tank with tap water and the BHSM1610DSM is ready for routine cleaning without added chemicals. BLACK+DECKER states that its steam kills 99.9% of bacteria and germs, which makes this mop an appealing option for homes with pets or small children. Because the tank comes off the unit, topping it up at the sink is straightforward.

Why Choose the BLACK+DECKER BHSM1610DSM Steam Mop?

This Black and Decker steam mop brings several useful abilities together: quick heat-up, floor-specific steam control and a handheld mode for the jobs a standard mop can’t do. The Delta head reaches tight spaces, the SteaMitt handles surfaces best cleaned by hand, and the long cable reduces interruptions. If you want one appliance for sealed floors, grout, glass and detailed household cleaning, the BHSM1610DSM covers that range with water and steam alone.
